Riviera English School is just 2 minutes’ walk from Torquay harbour, close to shops, restaurants and the night life of the town. R.E.S. is a small school, in a modernised quiet office block immediately behind the Hollywood Bowl - a major entertainment complex and popular destination for social activities. Close to the school are many hotels, a social club with gym, pool and snooker tables, and a pleasant park where students can sit and relax after a hard day studying. The school has a students’ room with a small library, TV, computer and video, and well equipped classrooms. Breaktime snacks and drinks are available. The school has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere, and students will always find a warm welcome awaits them at Riviera English School.

Riviera English School is a partnership of three former teachers, Rob Alex and James, with a total of forty years' experience between them. You may have heard of the Principal - Rob Hamilton as he was the Principal at International Language Academy,  Torquay (Nord Anglia) for six years, was on the ARELS  Education Committee for four years, and is well respected in the business.
