Homestay Accommodation (Host family)

All our host families are carefully chosen by our accommodation officer, who visits all families, and chooses only the best. All families are checked with the relevant authorities. Many students return every year, and ask for the same host family. You can tell us specific needs, for example, if you don't like dogs or you are a vegetarian. You will be met at the coach or train station by your host family. All host families are normally in walking distance of the school (between 5 and 30 minutes' walk), but bus passes are available if you prefer - for a cost of about £15 per week for unlimited local travel.

The price includes breakfast and dinner Monday to Friday, and all meals at weekends.
Host families will do light laundry, and will provide towels and bedding.

Traveller's Hostel

For budget accommodation in Torquay, there is 'Torquay Backpackers' which is a travellers' hostel with guests from around the world.

The rooms are shared single-sex dormitories, and the accommodation is self-catering. There is a kitchen area, a dining room, a TV/social room, and a very good atmosphere.
